KK: Mom, why do you always look at the "fancy" cheese. (The cheese usually around the deli area).
Me: I like fancy cheese. Fancy cheese makes me happy. :)
KK: Mom?
Me: Yes?
KK: But you never BUY the fancy cheese. You only look at it.
Me: Well, I'm too cheap to actually BUY it. But it makes me happy to look at it.
Send help. I've obviously got a serious problem. LOL

I don't have a daughter to "call" me on this, but I do the same thing, Susie! And if I do buy a small piece or pkg, I usually end up throwing half a moldy pkg out.

What an insight into human behavior. I do the same thing!
I look and only buy when I know I am using it for something specific! I never had anyone go shopping with me that would call me on it though. ;-)
I love fancy cheeses. If you ever head over to Seattle, stop at a Trader Joe's and look at their selection- SO much cheaper than a regular grocery store, and a better selection too! Then you can actually do some buyin'! (There's a TJ's in Issaquah if you go up that way.)
